Little Katie’s cake smash is a great example of how you can really personalise your experience.
I’ve know Katie since she was a tiny bump and got to do her newborn photoshoot so it was great to be able to celebrate her 1st birthday too.
We started off with some simple portrait shoots, we used my wooden blocks to spell out her name, my ‘ONE’ letters, cute rainbow blocks as well as pink pompoms.
Then we introduced some of Katie’s favourite toys and important items such as the first toy mummy and daddy ever brought for her. It was great to represent special memories and really capture Katie’s personality, she’s a fan of reading and really loves the baby shark song.
Katie’s cake was not actually a cake but home made by Mummy and consisted of frozen yogurt which proved popular.
It’s always great to add something personal to your photoshoot or have a theme that means something special. I love cake smashes as it really gets to capture their personalities and makes fabulous memories!
